The Southwest/West Central Higher Education Organization for Telecommunications and Technology (SHOT) was established in June of 1994. The members of this consortium are:

Minnesota State University in Marshall
* University
of Minnesota, Morris
* and University
of Minnesota, Southwest Research & Outreach Center at Lamberton.
