Learning Resources

The Learning Resource Center, located in BA on the second floor, provides a variety of services to assist students in sharpening their learning skills and strategies. Services available include learning style and academic skills evaluations, assistance through courses and workshops in developing improved college level reading, reasoning and study skills. 

The Learning Resource Center also offers study tables for specific student groups and a program called Supplemental Instruction for targeted courses. Academic support services for students with physical or learning disabilities are also provided.

The Tutor Center, located in the Learning Resources hallway, offers free and confidential tutoring services to all SMSU students. The center also organizes study groups for students. The Tutor Center is committed to helping all students achieve academic success.
