SMSU CTL Campus Leader
Welcome to the SMSU Center for Teaching & Learning.
We are excited about the SMSU CTL website. The site was new last spring. Be sure to check back frequently as we will be updating and expanding the site weekly. You will find a wealth of professional development information at your fingertips. On the right side, there are a number of options to explore. Hope to see you at our next CTL event.
Who is our campus leader?
CTL campus leaders have been chosen by their respective campuses to work with the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Center for Teaching & Learning to facilitate faculty and staff development activities in their respective institutions.
Dr. Tanya McCoss-Yerigan was selected as your campus leader spring semester 2006. Dr. Yerigan is a faculty member in the Education Department and has worked for SMSU since 1998.
Why do We have a campus leader?
CTL campus leaders provide a vital communications link between faculty, administration and the Center for Teaching and Learning.
They are responsible for informing faculty about local, regional and statewide CTL events. As a campus resource, they can assess faculty needs, provide resources and arrange workshops that meet those needs; and they can be instrumental in communicating faculty needs to the CTL and to their respective administrations.
