A message from the Director of Public Safety:
At Southwest Minnesota State University the safety of our students, faculty, and staff is always at the top of our agenda. We work hard to provide a secure campus, and we make available information and resources to members of the campus community to advise and educate them on making and keeping the environment safe. All members of the SMSU community should take an active role in their own security. The following information in that regard is provided to you as part of the college's commitment to the safety and security of everyone on campus, and in compliance with the "Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act."
