Desire 2 Learn

Welcome to Desire2Learn. Desire2Learn, also known as D2L, is the award-winning course management system used across all MnSCU (Minnesota State Colleges and Universities) campuses.

Faculty members can place course syllabus, content, quizzes, grades and discussions on D2L to supplement on-campus courses or provide fully online courses.

User Accounts on Desire2Learn:

• Students: Your username is your student ID number and your password is your birthdate in a YYMMDD format.
  
• Faculty: Your username is the beginning of your SMSU email address. Your password would then be your username with a 1 after it. For example, if your name was John J. Doe and your SMSU email address was jjdoe@southwestmsu.edu, then your username would be jjdoe and your password would be jjdoe1.

IMMEDIATELY change your password when you first log into D2L.
