Welcome and thank you for showing interest in the Post-Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) Program at Southwest Minnesota State University.
In 1985 the State of Minnesota passed a bill creating the PSEO Program which allows Minnesota high school juniors and seniors to take college-level courses that apply to both high school graduation requirements and a college degree.
Any public, nonpublic, home school or American Indian-controlled tribal contract or grant student classified as an 11th or 12th grader and accepted by a post-secondary institution, may enroll either full- or part-time in courses at SMSU. Students participating in cultural exchange programs are not eligible.
