Distance Learning at Southwest Minnesota State provides a variety of off-campus academic programs delivered for students that want to learn outside the traditional brick and mortar campus classroom setting.

No matter if your educational needs are undergraduate, graduate, online, interactive television, non-credit, hybrids, or any combination, SMSU Distance Learning has something for the distance learner.

Students, faculty and community members throughout the region and the state can find programming and services through the Office of Distance Learning such as:
