Social Science Dept.

The Department of Social Science is housed in the northernmost building on the campus of Southwest Minnesota State University. In addition to classrooms and offices, the Social Science Building contains conference rooms, laboratories, student lounge areas, club and activity rooms, a dance studio, and the Anthropology Museum.

Students in SMSU's Social Science Department are able to major in the areas of History, Justice Administration, Psychology, Social Work, and Sociology. Minors are offered in Anthropology, Criminal Justice, Indigenous Nations & Dakota Studies, Psychology, and Sociology.
