Education Performance Assessment Committee

Description

The purposes of the Performance Assessment Committee are to:

  1. Design and implement a Performance Assessment System.
  2. Monitor progress of and oversee the successes and needed changes in the System and resulting analysis of data.

The purposes of the Performance Assessment System are to gather and effectively use data to make decisions for:

  1. Celebrating successes.
  2. Providing evidence for the need to make effective changes.
  3. Documenting the quality of the performance of our teacher candidates and graduates.

Membership

The Performance Assessment Committee is a small group made up of professionals who are knowledgeable of assessment systems, our programs, and/or representative of the following groups: faculty in the Education Department, faculty in the Department of Educator Development and Leadership, faculty from Arts and Science, and educators in our P-12 school partners.
