Professional Education Organizational Web

The Professional Education Organizational Web illustrates the process of continuous review and development of the Education Department, with a focus on quality learning and teaching through investigating in Communities of Practice. The Accreditation Leadership Team (ALT) provides guidance to the self-study and review process of the standards of the state (such as the Minnesota Board of Teaching) and nation (such as the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education) with the assistance of Committees representative of all stakeholders. As standards are reviewed and studied, members regularly share progress and make reports to the Education Department faculty for discussion. Recommendations based upon this study and review are brought to the Department for discussion and approval.
