Education Vitae

The Education Department retains vita information for all faculty active in the program, including full-time Education faculty, other university faculty teaching part-time in Education, adjuncts, and university supervisors. The information requested includes several items in addition to the university's standard NCA vita form, including teaching experience, areas of licensure, and technology training. These are necessary to document faculty qualifications for Board of Teaching approvals.

Faculty may submit their vita information in several ways:

You may download the vita template from the web, fill it in, and deliver or email the results to the Education Department at n.cate.bot@southwestmsu.edu. The template is a Word document with table cells for each piece of information. If you use the "tab" key to exit the final cell in a table, Word will automatically add an additional line. This is handy for entering multiple entries under the same heading.
If you prefer to handwrite the responses on the template, we can enter the data here. Make sure the information is legible.
If you have a printout of the standard university vita, we can type from that. Please verify that your submission matches the items on the template. You will probably need to add the following additional information for Board of Teaching purposes:
- List all teaching/education experience (most recent first).
- List all past & current licensure areas and state(s) in which they were earned.
- Specify ethnic origin (optional - used for department profile).
- List technology training attended.
