Description

The Brainerd Campus Teacher Education Advisory Committee was created in Fall 2003.  The committee was created to have a representative cross-section of constituents who deal with the Brainerd Campus Teacher Education Program (TEP).  There are 15 members currently serving on this committee.

The primary purposes are to:

• Review program guidelines and procedures.
• Evaluate programs/services provided by SMSU.
• Advise on development of policy matters.
• Identify opportunities for program growth (short-term and long-term).
• Advance program goals and support teacher candidate development.
• Promote the Teacher Education Program in the Brainerd Lakes Area.
• Represent and provide communication opportunities with constituents.
